Working with Your SpinSite Website: How can I have a movie file or flash play directly on one of my pages?
1. Choose 'Uploads' from your SpinSite Toolbar, and click the 'Upload File' button in the upload library.

2. Scroll to the bottom of the file library to find the movie file you just uploaded. Right-click (Windows) or Ctrl-click (Mac) on the file icon and choose 'Copy Shortcut' or 'Copy Link Location' (the name of this option changes from browser to browser.

3. Click the 'Finish' button to close the Uploads library.

4. Go to the page you would like to display your movie file, and choose 'Add Content' > 'Add Text'.

5. When the editor comes up click Source, right-click (Windows) or Ctrl-click (Mac) inside the editor and select 'Paste'. This should paste in the movie file's address (or URL). The file's URL should look something like this: http://my.spinsite.com/yoursite/uploads/moviefile.mov

7. Once the code is pasted in, you will need to move the file's URL. Cut the file's URL and paste it over the "URL GOES HERE" text.

8. The '***'s after 'width' and 'height' are at your discretion to complete. They represent the size of the movie's window by width and height in pixels. If you want to play the movie at it's original size, find the movie file on your hard drive and open it. Go up to 'File' and select 'Properties'. The video size should be there.

Here's an example (we'll use the Quicktime code):

9. Select the disc icon to save at the top left of the editor. That will close the editor window and return you to your page. You movie file is now on your page ready for viewing. You might want to put a message above the movie saying 'Click Play to watch the movie' or something to that effect.
